Dormont Summer Camp is a seasonal S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) based program of the Borough of Dormont Recreation Department for children aged 5-11. Camp is open to everyone, not just Dormont or Keystone Oaks residents! Camp runs for 9 weeks at the Recreation Center (the 2nd floor of the pool building), at 1801 Dormont Ave.
Formal camp activities are from 9:00am to 5:00pm (free early drop off begins at 8:00am, late pick up available until 6:00pm for an additional fee). Each week has a special theme. Please note that you are signing up for the entire week. We do not have a daily rate and missed days cannot be made up in other sessions. Campers will go to the iconic Dormont Pool, weather permitting on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 10am-12pm
Though we try to make Dormont Summer Camp as inclusive as possible, please note that we are not a special needs camp. Therefore, those children with needs that are beyond the scope of our staff may require family provided personal assistance in order for the child to attend camp (i.e. parent, therapeutic support staff (TSS, aide, etc.).
