Easter Egg Hunt 2023
Join the Borough of Dormont Recreation Board for the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1 from 11am-12:15pm! This great family event will take place at the large pavilion in Dormont Park. Special appearance by the ever popular Easter Bunny.

Let’s have a hoppin’ good time! The Borough of Dormont Recreation Board and Dormont Fire Department presents the 2023 Dormont Mega Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1st from 11 a.m. to Noon with a sensory-friendly hunt to follow from from Noon – 12:15 p.m. (by appointment). To register for the sensory friendly, please email Beth Bachman at BBachman@boro.dormont.pa.us or call 412-561-8900. We’ll be continually hiding eggs in the park near the large pavilion throughout the event. Bring a basket, hunt for eggs, and take a selfie with the Easter Bunny!

We ask that everyone follow a few friendly rules:

1) Please exercise restraint in collecting, there are plenty of eggs to go around but please leave some for others (the limit is 10-15 eggs per child).

2) This event is intended for CHILDREN (12 and under). There will be a separate area for children 3 & under to hunt (in the small playground area).

3) Please clean up after yourselves and respect the park. Do not litter and take eggs home with you!

4) We’ll also be raffling off some special prizes throughout the event.

Cookies with Santa

Join the for Borough of Dormont Recreation Board for Cocoa & Cookies with Santa after the Dormont Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 3rd as part of the Home for the Holidays in Dormont 2022 event. We’ll be on Potomac Avenue passing out a cookie and free hot cocoa coupon to all kids while supplies last (first 150). Kids will also be able to get their photo taken with Santa! Please note, this will start around 11:00am as soon as Santa finishes his duties with the Dormont Fire Department Holiday Parade.
