Yesterday, the Borough posted some early playground concepts and referenced the official Next Generation Playground project website (which you can find here). The post was also a call to read the Dormont Playground Chronicles, on the project website. The “Chronicles” are a monthly update reviewing the progress of the Next Generation Playground. These concepts were previously reviewed by the Playground Committee and all contributed to the final playground layout. You can visit the project website at dormontnextgenplayground.com.
Below is the final rendering of the Next Generation Playground layout. “Space” was an early concept that has since been eliminated from consideration as the Borough has received overwhelming public opinion asserting that the Next Generation Playground should continue to have a Castle Theme. We are sorry for the confusion!
