Saturday, October 28rd, 2023 is the 25th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Once again, the Dormont Police Department will be partnering with CVS and we will be collecting unused and expired prescription drugs at their Dormont Location, 3075 West Liberty Avenue. Officers will be onsite from 10AM – 2PM. Remember, if you are unable to attend this event, there is a Prescription Drug Take Back Box located in the lobby of the Dormont Police Station and you can drop items off 24/7.
- Medication, whether prescription or over -the-counter, from households and/or residences are accepted.
- Medication may be disposed of in the original containers or in a sealed plastic bag.
- Liquid pharmaceuticals shall remain in the original container.
- No needles, syringes, or lancets shall be placed in the drop box.
