Dormont Street and Music Festival Line Up Announced
 
Dormont, PA –The Borough of Dormont is excited to announce the full music line-up for the 2021 Dormont Street and Music Festival sponsored by the Borough of Dormont, Arsenal Cider Tap House – Dormont and Dad’s Basement. This will be the 13th iteration of this annual event and will take place on Saturday, October 9th from 1:00pm-8:00pm. Potomac Avenue will be closed from West Liberty Avenue to Belrose Avenue and will feature live music, food and craft vendors during this exciting event.

Arsenal Cider Main Stage will be hosted by Dad’s Basement and includes a full line up of local talent. The line up will kick off with the School of Rock South Hills at 1:00pm, followed by Pierce Dipner Music at 2:30pm, The Benders at 4:00pm, The Walkmen Band at 5:30pm, and Dormont legend Joe Grushecky will return to headline this year’s event at 7:00pm.

A 2nd smaller performance tent be set up on Potomac Avenue by West Liberty Avenue and is presented by Gold Mountain Music Festival. Gabe Krivosh will open at 1:00pm, followed by Nate Ivey at 2:00pm, Noah Goisse at 3:00pm, Peter and The Hick at 4:00pm, CBMG Unity Band & Show at 5:00pm. In The Pocket will be the final performance at this area at 6:00pm.

Other highlights include the Borough of Dormont Recreation Board Kidzone on Glenmore Avenue featuring Go Explore Create public art project and Dormont Fire Department truck, a 30 foot rock wall presented by the Pennsylvania National Guard, and a variety of local food and craft vendors. Ray Ryan New Orleans Band will also be making their way up and down Potomac Avenue. Arsenal Cider will also host a Brew Garden featuring their specialty cider, Chosen Wine Dormont PA and Back Alley Brewing Company on Espy Avenue. Quarantine Bob and Texas Tex will perform from 2:00pm-5:00pm in the Arsenal Cider Brew Garden.
