Dormont Park is now open! Borough Council approved a contract on Monday, June 2 for the removal of trees that had uprooted during the storm but were dangerously leaning on other trees, threatening both trees to fall. The contract also included dangerous branches that had been broken and snapped but were still connected or had not fully fallen to the ground. While those hazards have been removed, there are still downed trees in the park that will take time to clear. Please avoid those downed trees and stumps.
