As previously noted, Borough Council authorized an expenditure of up to $100,000 to begin the work to replace the playground at Beggs Snyder. The space had been cleared by borough staff. Recognizing that we wanted to have a playground up and functional by the end of the year, we worked with several different vendors to find equipment and materials that could be available to us.
All the equipment for the Beggs Snyder playground has been ordered. The project will also include surfacing throughout, and “funserts” in the one area. In addition to the original equipment that was discussed, Council decided to add a slide as well. We’re excited to see its completion and are grateful that we were able to move forward so quickly on this.
Please note that the design and equipment is accurate but the colors are not.
