Tribute to Castle Playground

Borough Staff and the rePLACE Comprehensive Plan team invite you to join a Tribute to Castle Playground.
SPECIAL GUEST: Pirate Parrot from 5-6:30pm

When: Sunday, October 27, 5:00-6:30pm
Where: Dormont Pool Parking Lot

What to expect:
Listening Stations & Activities: Share your memories & stories in either written or video format to be preserved in a digital time capsule
Feedback: View the current draft design of Dormont’s Next Generation Playground. Vote on your favorite potential playground equipment that could be included in the design. Share ideas on the use/reuse of salvageable pieces of Castle Playground.
Enjoy: Games & activities, and free cider & cocoa from Millie’s

Who: Everyone is welcome! This event is scheduled alongside the Recreation Board’s Halloween Movie event so bring the kids to participate and give their feedback.  If you prefer a quieter experience, please feel free to arrive at 5:00pm before little goblins and witches arrive!

Can’t make it? Can’t make it? A new dedicated website is scheduled to launch the week of October 28. You will be able to contribute to the digital time capsule including uploading media and also share your feedback on the current draft design of Dormont’s Next Gen Playground. This site will be maintained and used for updates as well.
