Dormont Arts and Dormont Borough Partner on Art Exhibition and Sale
Local artists: Kathryn Carr, Kim Fox, and Hilary Schenker
Dormont, PA – The Borough of Dormont in partnership with Dormont Arts is excited to announce a reception and sale featuring the works of three local artists: Kathryn Carr, Kim Fox, and Hilary Schenker. This reception celebrates the artists and the captivating exhibit of their work displayed in the lobby of the Dormont Municipal Center through January 2025.
The exhibition showcases a diverse range of artistic styles and mediums, offering something for every art enthusiast. From vibrant paintings to thought-provoking tin cut reliefs, and oil paintings the pieces on display are sure to inspire and delight. The Borough of Dormont believes in the power of art to uplift the spirit, foster creativity, and transform public spaces into welcoming and inspiring environments. The selection team for this exhibit included a Dormont Borough council person, Dormont Borough staff member, two Dormont Arts board members, and the arts curator/owner of Fine Arts Special Services.
A reception will be held on Thursday, November 14th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, providing an opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy their work.
