Home for the Holidays in Dormont

Save the Date for “Home for the Holidays in Dormont” on Saturday, December 4th from 10:00am-2:00pm on Potomac Avenue. The event kicks off with the Dormont Fire Department Holiday Parade starting at 10:00am. The parade will begin on West Liberty Avenue by Peermont Avenue and head north to make a left on Potomac Avenue. The parade will end on Potomac Avenue at Belrose Avenue. Following the parade around 11:00am, there will be a variety of holiday and winter themed activities from multiple screenings of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (cartoon short 25 minutes, 1966) at the Hollywood Theater to entertainment and activities outside on Potomac Avenue including an ice sculptor, artisan vendors presented by Dormont Arts, pictures with Santa and more. Cookies with Santa – Potomac Avenue -11:30am-1:30pm – Santa will be available for pictures outside on Potomac. While hanging out with the big guy, enjoy some cookies and receive a coupon for a small hot cocoa from a local coffee shop!
