Join us on Potomac Avenue for Dormont’s first-ever Open Streets!
From 10am-2pm on Saturday, July 23rd, Potomac Avenue will be closed to car traffic but OPEN to all who want to walk, bike, roll or play!
Kids of all ages can join us at 10am for a BIKE PARADE! Come at 10am to decorate your bike and we roll at 10:30am!
We’re also hoping to have some Electric Bikes to test drive – more details to follow!
MRTSA will be on site with safety tips (and maybe CJ the Therapy Dog!).
Bubbles, chalk and yard games will be out and you can snap a pic at the selfie station!
Dining tables will be out so you can grab food from one of our Potomac Ave businesses and eat outside.
Bring your own instrument to make some street music or enjoy a performance from the Dubin family!
As the event closes, meet up with Councilwoman Mazzocco to take a bike ride through the streets of Dormont. There will be fun & safety in numbers as we explore a bike-friendly route through town.
Bring your own bike or walk your kids in their stroller, visit our businesses to shop & eat, play some games, make some music or meet up with neighbors! The street is yours!
