Please be aware: Construction on Potomac Avenue upcoming for Fiber Optics Line Installation
Update: Tentative Start Date Moved to around June 5; they are currently planning to start near West Liberty Avenue and move towards Banksville Rd.
The Borough of Dormont was made aware of a fiber optics line installation project that was delayed in 2022 is now being scheduled. This installation will take place the entire length of Potomac Avenue from Banksville Road to West Liberty Avenue. During the installation, there will be one lane closures in the area of installation and will cause delays to those traveling in the area. Unfortunately, final details are not available. Residents and businesses in the area will receive at least 48 hours notice from the contracted company.
