The Code Enforcement Officer was first established by the Borough in 1956 and has been in affect ever since. The Code Enforcement Officer, appointed by motion of Borough Council, works under the supervision of the Borough Building Inspector. This officer handles most of the property related complaints that are registered with the Borough Office which include issues like: high grass and weeds, abandoned automobiles, accumulation of rubbish and unsanitary conditions.
