Borough of Dormont Warming Center:
Please be advised that the Borough of Dormont Community Room is open and available as a temporary warming center. Parking is available in the borough lot, accessible off Espy Ave. To access the Community Room, enter the main building entrance(s), and proceed down the big green stairs. There is also an elevator available beside the ticket booth display in the lobby.
In the event of additional power outages, Duquesne Light may not be able to give an estimated time to have it restored. The warming center will remain open until further notice to accommodate those who might be displaced due to the severe temperatures.

There are currently over 500 residents without power in Dormont, and at this time Duquesne Light is not providing timelines for when power will be restored. Please check on your family, friends, and neighbors in Dormont to make sure that they are okay and that they know this is available.
